Tesla is seeking a passionate and skilled Data Analyst to join our HR & Recruitment Analytics team, delivering essential reporting, automation, and insight to empower HR and Recruitment in making data-driven decisions about our talented workforce.
You will be working together with the People Teams (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Payroll, Recruitment Coordination, Internal Mobility, HR), Finance, Business Analytics, Business Planning, Data Engineering and Product Development, as well as senior business leaders across multiple geographies and work with multiple large datasets to compile actionable insight and drive operational excellence.

What You'll Do
- Work with multiple different personality types while managing multiple projects within a fast paced, energetic, and dynamic workplace.
- Partner with various teams within Tesla to gather requirements to create reports and analytics to enable data-driven decision making for the Talent Acquisition, HR, and other teams at Tesla.
- Manage rollout of dashboards, automation solutions and project delivery, while maintaining high-quality of deliverables, data accuracy and security.
- Translate complex findings and data into a compelling and easy to understand narrative for audiences of various level of seniority and familiarity with data and analytics.
- Develop and maintain automated processes to reduce manual tasks and errors, optimize workflows in onboarding, offboarding, and reconciliations for improved efficiency and real-time insights.
What You'll Bring
- Exceptional communication skills with a strong team-focus and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of building and servicing compelling reports and dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, or other visualisation tools.
- Experience with working with large datasets, and able to work with multiple data sources to clean, manipulate, blend, analyze and present data to deliver insight and recommendations.
- Solid SQL skills. Familiarity with database architecture and design as well as ETL development and T-SQL (stored procedures, prepared statements, functions).
- Experience with Power Platform and Power Apps development, or any other RPA (Robotic Process Automation).
- Python / R / other programming languages for predictive models is a strong plus.
- Databricks, Docker, HTML, CSS, web app development is a strong plus.
