Role Overview
We’re looking for a commercially astute and technically fluent Senior Deployment Strategist.
You’ll be the bridge between battery insight and business impact, responsible for ensuring customers achieve rapid time-to-value and long‑term success with our battery intelligence products, driving real value into their business, and championing the customer within Elysia.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how we deliver our products, onboard, support, and grow our enterprise customers.
You will support technical discovery, scoping, and sales calls, and own the post‑sales journey (end to end), from technical deployment to strategic adoption and long‑term value realization, acting as the trusted advisor to our customers.
Working closely with some of the most innovative names in energy and mobility, you will help them unlock the full potential of their batteries, presenting, consulting, advising and driving value for senior stakeholders in our customers’ business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders across deployment, onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal, acting as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights, best practices, and thought leadership to drive value and foster long‑term partnerships.
- Be the first point of contact and trusted advisor for your customers, acting as an extension of their internal teams to drive their business success using Elysia’s products.
- Lead complex, multi‑phase deployments, partnering with Application Engineering and Product Teams to meet technical and operational requirements, ensuring success criteria are well defined and achieved.
- Work as a partner to your lead application engineer and sales counterparts, taking responsibility for the product implementation, including all scoping and timing plans, presenting the realised value back to the customer, aligned to their needs.
- Develop and own accountability for tailored plans for enterprise customers with defined milestones, KPIs, and value objectives.
- Drive deep engagement and product adoption, delivering proactive training, reporting, and success reviews to align customer outcomes with product capabilities, demonstrating value and ROI.
- Influence product strategy by representing the voice of the customer in roadmap conversations with Product and Engineering, informing product‑market fit and roadmap priorities.
- Define and optimise success frameworks, processes, playbooks, and metrics that support scalable, high‑impact engagement across a growing portfolio.
Support early‑stage accounts with direct, high‑touch engagement while building for repeatability at scale.
- Identify and win new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that address client requirements.
Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to effectively position our software solutions and services.

- Key Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in consultancy, technical account management, customer‑facing engineering, solution deployment in a B2B software or energy/industrial technology environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, science, or a related technical field.
- Delivery of complex hardware or software into safety‑critical heavy‑industry environments.
- Strong understanding of battery technology, performance, software or data analytics, ideally in the field of automotive, energy or heavy industry applications.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; capable of interfacing with both technical and executive stakeholders, with the ability to influence at all levels – from engineers to C‑suite.
- Experience with tools like CRM (Salesforce), project management software (Asana, Jira).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to turn complexity, ambiguity and large‑scale challenges into clear, implementable solutions.
- You have a bias to action, focused on outcomes, getting your hands dirty to drive results.
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and customer relationships simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel globally as required to meet with clients.
