The HR Operations team is involved in a complex set of tasks within a wide range of system, process and operation disciplines across EMEA and the global HR organization. The HR Operations team plays a critical role in managing multiple initiatives that support broader organizational operations, including identifying and remedying process inefficiencies based on data, contributing to the system enhancement roadmap, and partnering with product managers and HR stakeholders to prioritise and support the delivery of system and process enhancements.

As an HR Systems Specialist, you will report to the HR Operations Manager and will partner closely with recruitment, HR partnering, payroll, compensation, timekeeping and HR shared services teams to understand the challenges they face and convey them systematically to the product team. You will develop analytical and communication skills and gain a deep understanding of the recruitment and HR technology landscape.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a thorough understanding of software development workflows and the role of end‑users in supporting rollout and testing of new system functionality.
  • Provide end‑user support for our HROS and other HR systems, gaining a deep understanding of how industry‑leading HR systems function.
  • Maintain an overview of a broad selection of development and issue tickets, as well as production issues in a ticketing system, and resolve tickets for our stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify and independently propose plans to tackle end‑user knowledge gaps.
  • Gain a profound grasp on and actively contribute to the recruiting system production issue tracker.
  • Analyse patterns and data, identifying gaps in HROS, and collaborate with responsible parties (end‑users, system admins, etc.) to drive positive change at a system level.
  • Drive rollout and adoption of new processes and systems, ensuring their successful implementation.
  • Manage technical projects in a global setting, including project planning, tracking, and reporting progress to stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in people / HR organizations, with an emphasis on improving systems and processes.
  • General understanding of how industry‑standard HR operating systems function.
  • General understanding of how reporting environments (e.g., Tableau) function.
  • Experience using Jira or similar ticketing systems is a plus; experience using Confluence is a plus.
  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL and Excel, including advanced features such as conditional formatting, pivot tables, concatenate, VLOOKUP, and IF statements.
  • Ability to extract, manipulate and assign narrative to data.
  • Familiarity with technical project management methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, Agile, or similar.
