Pay & Hours

  • Hourly paid role with typical working week: 40–45 hours
  • Overtime paid on all hours over 45/week
  • Average earnings (2025): £42,000 – £48,000
  • Higher earnings achievable with additional overtime

The Role

  • Diagnosing and fault finding on solar PV systems
  • Carrying out planned maintenance and inspections
  • Completing technical remedials / component replacement works
  • Supporting installation of solar PV and battery systems
  • Working across domestic and commercial sites
  • Providing technical support to customers
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrician + AM2
  • BS 7671: 18th Edition (or willingness to update)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Commercial electrical experience

Desirable (not essential)

  • Solar PV / battery experience
  • C&G 2391 Test & Inspect
  • SSSTS or SMSTS

No solar experience? We’ll train the right electrician.
