Position Summary

The Captive Solution Specialist is a UK-based role with pan-European scope, supporting BYD’s captive leasing and auto finance solutions across multiple European markets. The role works closely with BYD Europe HQ, local country teams, and external financial partners to ensure consistent, competitive, and compliant finance solutions that support BYD’s growth in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Captive Lease & Auto Finance

  • Support development and rollout of captive leasing and retail finance solutions across Europe.
  • Coordinate with UK team, BYD Europe HQ and local country teams on finance programs.
  • Support pricing logic, product setup and performance monitoring (penetration, risk, etc).

Partners & Dealer Financing

  • Support cooperation with European banks, leasing companies and white-label partners.
  • Assist with wholesale and floorplan financing structures for dealer networks.
  • Monitor partner performance and support improvement actions.

Strategy, Governance & Coordination

  • Monitor European market trends, competitor finance offers and regulatory developments.
  • Ensure alignment with BYD Europe finance governance and internal policies.
  • Prepare cross-market analysis, reports and business cases for management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in auto finance, leasing, captive finance, bank or leasing company.
  • Experience working in multi-country / European setups is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe when required.
