As a Technical Project Lead – New Manufacturing Technology, you will drive the identification, evaluation, and implementation of innovative manufacturing processes within our battery cell production environment. This role focuses on leading cross-functional, manufacturing-oriented projects aimed at introducing new technologies and methods to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to plan and execute trials, assess feasibility, and deliver robust solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Process Identification & Evaluation: Lead initiatives to research, identify, and assess emerging manufacturing technologies and processes that can improve production capabilities.
  • Vendor Engagement & Trial Management: Develop trial plans with external vendors, oversee execution, and evaluate results to determine suitability for integration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, purchasing, finance, and technical teams to ensure alignment of new process initiatives with design, cost, and operational requirements.
  • Project Planning & Delivery: Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for new process development projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Risk & Change Management: Identify technical and operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage scope changes during project execution.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide clear updates on trial outcomes, technology evaluations, and project progress to stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all new processes meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards before implementation.
