As a Quality Project Engineer, you will lead the delivery of APQP activities for assigned components, ensuring quality readiness through pre‑SOP. Acting as the key quality interface across engineering, manufacturing and the customer, you will drive a structured, right‑first‑time approach to product and process development. You will play a critical role in ensuring new battery products meet both internal and customer quality expectations as we scale our operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Represent Quality & the voice of the customer in the development of product and processes in the industrialization of products.
- Ensure the Agratas APQP framework is integrated into the master project plan.
- Execute the Agratas APQP framework in assigned projects and regularly report the project quality status.
- Facilitate cross‑functional teams during the development of deliverables through the APQP process – e.g. Process flows, FMEA, Control plan etc.
- Utilize lessons learned during product development processes to ensure continuous improvement of our quality deliverables.
- Evaluate and report the output of APQP deliverables, acting as a checker to ensure both correctness and completeness of artefacts as well as supporting the interconnection between interdependent APQP elements.
- Report on product development process overall status, key risks and opportunities.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience delivering APQP within automotive (ideally Tier 1 environment).
- Strong knowledge of core quality tools (FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, PPAP).
- Experience working cross‑functionally and with customers.
- Degree in Engineering or Quality‑related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Experience improving or developing processes.
- Familiarity with Power BI, PowerApps or SharePoint.
- Exposure to a fast‑paced or start‑up environment.
