About the role: As a Project Manager, you’ll lead high-priority, cross-functional projects that deliver meaningful change across our UK business and contribute directly to our key business priorities. You’ll bring structure and clarity to complex projects, often in areas where there may be no established precedent. Working with colleagues across a variety of functions, including senior leaders and Directors, you’ll bring teams together, navigate challenges and keep delivery on track. With a varied portfolio of projects and priorities that evolve throughout the year, this is a great opportunity to broaden your business knowledge, build a strong network and develop your project management and leadership skills. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to and shape initiatives that strengthen our wider Programme, Project and Change community.

You will be responsible for:

• Define and scope the projects/programmes you lead, establishing clear direction and alignment by ensuring that a clear vision, objectives and plan are in place.
• Mobilise cross functional project/programme teams and establish and embed ways of working.
• Establish and facilitate the appropriate levels of governance to provide oversight and direction for the projects/programmes.
• Engage and align stakeholders across all levels to deliver the plan.
• Manage interdependencies and impacts across projects/programmes.
• Drive progress in a consistent, transparent way, and identify and manage issues and risks, and opportunities.
• Support subject matter expertise and development both within the team and across the Programmes, Projects and Change community.

You will need:

• To be comfortable working with uncertainty, bringing clarity and structure where there may not always be an established approach.
• To bring energy and a positive mindset, helping teams find the right way forward and get things done.

• A proven track record of successfully delivering projects or programmes and working cross-functionally.
• Experience of managing project teams and building strong, effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• To be confident influencing stakeholders, facilitating governance sessions and NWTs, and engaging with senior business leaders.
• To be proactive in taking accountability, making decisions and driving progress.
