In this role, you’ll be the guardian of measurement and insight standards for Personalisation—setting principles, standardising and automating outputs, and chairing key forums such as the Measurement Community of Practice and Customer Measurement Council. These forums ensure we’re not only doing things right but doing the right things. You’ll translate overarching strategies into practical operating rhythms, influence senior stakeholders, and make complex, customer-led decisions that drive business outcomes. Alongside this, you’ll coach and develop team members, balancing the delivery of short- and long-term value.
You will be responsible for:
- Own Measurement Strategy: Define and evolve the end-to-end measurement framework, ensuring robust, consistent metrics and methodologies aligned to business objectives.
- Set Standards & Governance: Establish best practices for testing, controls, and causal inference; act as the quality gatekeeper for all insight outputs.
- Enable Scalable Reporting: Drive automation and standardisation to create a single source of truth for personalisation performance.
- Innovate & Benchmark: Integrate advanced measurement techniques, embed compliance guardrails, and continuously benchmark against industry leaders.
- Collaborate & Influence: Partner with cross-functional teams and chair governance forums to validate approaches, inform decisions, and foster continuous learning.
You will need:
- Analytics & Measurement Expertise: Extensive experience in analytics and insights, with strong knowledge of incrementality, controls, and causal measurement in multi-channel environments.
- Framework Leadership: Proven ability to design and maintain measurement quality frameworks and deliver measurable value through personalisation and CRM initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Skilled at leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams and simplifying technical methodologies for non-technical stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Background in retail, loyalty, and multi-channel customer programmes.
- Strategic Storytelling: Ability to turn data into actionable strategies and communicate with clarity and impact at all levels.
