About the role: You will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of customer communications for the Clubcard proposition, working closely with the Clubcard team to identify and prioritise the most important messages for customers. As the UK Marketing Communications lead for Clubcard, you will translate strategic priorities into compelling, customer-centric campaigns and communications, driving execution across UK Marketing to maximise digital engagement, strengthen perceptions of generosity, and ultimately drive customer loyalty.

You will be responsible for:

  • Strategy & Insight: Translating the Clubcard strategy and business priorities into clear, customer-focused communication strategies that drive engagement, loyalty and value perception. Using customer, behavioural and commercial insights to identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness, relevance and efficiency of Clubcard communications. Developing insight-led communication plans that influence customer behaviour and deliver against Clubcard objectives. Staying ahead of customer trends, communication best practices and competitor activity to continuously enhance the Clubcard communications approach.
  • Communication & Delivery: Leading the communication strategy for Clubcard, ensuring customers understand and engage with the value, rewards and benefits available through the scheme. Partnering with the Clubcard team to identify and prioritise the most important customer messages and translating them into compelling, customer-centric communications. Driving the end-to-end delivery of integrated campaigns and communications across UK Marketing, ensuring a consistent and seamless customer experience. Championing personalisation and the effective use of data to deliver relevant, impactful communications at scale.
  • Collaboration: Building strong relationships across Clubcard, Technology, Customer, Data, CRM and Channel teams to align business priorities with customer communications. Connecting capabilities, technology and channels across the customer journey to create seamless experiences that make it easy for customers to engage with Clubcard. Working closely with agency partners and wider marketing teams to continually improve communication effectiveness, performance and execution.
