We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded Location Planning Manager to lead our approach to store development across London and the South East. This is a high-impact role at the heart of Tesco's property and growth agenda, shaping where and how we serve customers in one of our most dynamic regions. You will guide major location decisions that influence the future of our estate. You will combine analytical expertise with commercial awareness to ensure we invest in the right places, at the right time, for the right reasons.

You will be responsible for:
- Leading the development of location strategies for new store openings, closures, relocations, and estate optimisation.
- Overseeing catchment analysis, impact modelling, and forecasting to support robust investment decisions.
- Driving strategic business projects that provide clear insight and direction to the Property team and the business, ensuring we remain agile to market changes, including potential acquisitions.
- Championing the use of spatial data, customer insight, and market intelligence to inform decision-making.
- Identifying opportunities to improve team effectiveness through enhanced processes, tools, and training.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and impact.
- Building strong relationships across Property, Finance, Commercial, and other key functions to influence and support strategic initiatives.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on all location-related matters.
- Ensuring all work aligns with our business code of conduct, acting with integrity, professionalism, and due diligence.
You will need:
- Significant experience working in a role that involves interpreting and applying locational and/or spatial data to drive commercial decisions.
- A strong track record of presenting insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders with clarity and influence.
