Work within Technology to ensure that technology programme delivery to stores is high quality, keeping an eye on the little things to mitigate issues before they become big blockers. Be agile in your approach, working across the scan assist programme to ensure plans are aligned for the different parts of technology deliverables ahead of store go-lives. Engage with stakeholders across Tesco, working with others to deliver objectives and deliver measurable improvements. Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Tesco project management principles are followed including stakeholder management, project tracking and communicating with/motivating natural work team members.
- Ensuring clear definition of done for each store, and striving to achieve that as efficiently as possible.
- Identifying where resources can be best utilised and engaging with relevant subject matter experts, leading and motivating them to contribute to the delivery of the project.
- Managing risk and issues; managing interdependencies and any potential conflicts, working with others to deliver the project objectives/scope.
- Designing a clear implementation programme, working with the people and communications teams as required.
- Monitoring progress of delivery and updating stakeholders including business leaders on the deliverables.
- Inspiring, engaging and leading others to achieve great results; you make customers and colleagues feel valued.
- Taking ownership of processes and systems, making sure they are effective and efficient; you spot issues and swiftly find the best simplest solutions.
- Being flexible in your approach, identifying where your time can be most valuable, and focusing on those areas.
