We are on the lookout for a Content and Campaign Manager to join our Group Communication department here at Tesco. Working within a fast-paced, down-to-earth, and dynamic team, you will be responsible for creating impactful and engaging content and campaigns to mass and targeted colleague populations. Tesco is the biggest private employer in the UK, and this is an opportunity to reach a large and diverse audience. You would create engaging, insight-led, two-way communications that give colleagues the information they want and need at the right time.
You will report to the Senior Creative Campaign Manager (Value, Seasonal & Deals), whilst working closely with other Content and Communications Managers within the wider team to execute high quality communications that drives advocacy for us as a Great Place to Work and to Shop. Please note, this is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Creating engaging content for c.250,000 UK colleagues, including colleagues in our Stores, Distribution and Office, that keeps colleagues connected with what’s happening around the business.
- Turning a colleague campaign into compelling pieces of content and identifying the most appropriate channel mix (e.g. social news platform, emails, posters, event activations) to achieve maximum cut through and in line with the tone of voice.
- Briefing in and liaising with multiple stakeholders and agencies, to manage deliverables and meet deadlines set.
- Designing, creating and delivering impactful and insight-driven optimisation of content that keeps colleagues engaged with the social news platform, returning time and again, with clear measures of success.
- Working closely with other Content and Communications Managers for quality control and consistency of high-quality content.
- Personalising and tailoring content to ensure maximum relevancy, often varying the style of content (from written to video form) to suit the audience.
- Guiding business functions and local communication teams across Tesco Group to champion the digital comms platform, supporting with engaging content and Tesco tone of voice promotion.
You will need
- To be highly organised, juggling multiple agendas.
- To have a positive can-do attitude with a great teamwork ethic.
- To have experience in content creation, preferably across social or communications platforms.
- To be a creative, analytical thinker with a proactive approach.
- To deliver multiple campaigns with differing timescales and complexities, working at pace.
- In addition, you may have experience managing an online community, but this is not essential.
