Pay Rate: Starting from £14.76/hour, increasing to £15.97/hour inside the M25, with additional payments depending on location.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week for new colleagues, with options to work as few as 12 hours if preferred. Your shifts will be scheduled within your available hours, with 3 weeks\’ notice.

Role Overview

As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you\’ll support store operations, assist customers, and lead a team to ensure smooth daily activities. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing duty shifts and ensuring store standards
• Providing excellent customer service
• Coaching colleagues and giving feedback
• Supporting store safety and performance
• Leading by example and fostering a positive environment

Requirements: Must be 18 or over.

Availability

Available hours include:

• Sunday: 15:30 – 23:00
• Tuesday: 16:00 – 23:00
• Thursday: 09:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 16:30 – 23:00
• Saturday: 06:00 – 14:00

Additional Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the store
• Supporting seasonal and community events
• Maintaining store cleanliness and safety
• Providing excellent customer service and team support
