Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from ÂŁ12.45 an hour; this increases to ÂŁ13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with flexibility to work fewer hours (minimum 12). The table below shows the availability windows.

Responsibilities
- Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride, giving great natural service.
- Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
- Work across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
- Put into practice the training you have received, so we all work safely, effectively and serve our customers brilliantly.
- Make decisions that are right for customers, delivering routines in store that meet their needs at the right time.
- Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Be knowledgeable about your store\’s performance, understanding your part in driving service and sales, reducing waste and shrink and delivering profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Live our values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow our policies.
- At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
