Overview

Tesco is hiring colleagues. The role offers a starter pay of £12.45 per hour, increasing to £13.66 for stores inside the M25. A night premium of £2.35 per hour applies for hours between midnight and 6am. Additional payments may apply depending on location. The policy guarantees a minimum of 16 hours per week, with options to work as few as 12 hours if desired. Availability windows will be scheduled, with 3 weeks\’ notice of shifts. Flexibility is supported if your availability closely matches the advertised times.

Responsibilitie s

  • Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride, delivering great natural service.
  • Be knowledgeable about products and services within the store.
  • Work across service, picking, and replenishment areas as required.
  • Apply training to ensure safe, effective service to customers.
  • Make decisions in the best interests of customers and deliver timely store routines.
  • Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Understand store performance and collaborate to drive service, sales, reduce waste, shrink, and deliver profit.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure delivery to customers in good condition.
  • Represent the brand values, follow policies, and be welcoming to all colleagues.
  • Occasionally accept deliveries into the store when required.
