The availability window shows the periods of time in the week you would be available to work. Availability will be scheduled within these times with 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. We are happy to support flexibility if your available times match closely to the advertised times.
Pay – Our Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores inside the M25. For hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive a night premium of £2.35 per hour. Additional payments may apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; there are opportunities for a minimum of 12 hours if requested.

Responsibilities
- Be a colleague in one of our stores and help to serve shoppers better every day.

- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
- Put training into practice to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
- Make decisions that are right for customers and deliver store routines that meet customer needs at the right time.
- Take part in seasonal, community and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Be knowledgeable about store performance and contribute to driving service, sales, waste reduction and profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality for customers.
- Be yourself, follow Tesco values, and adhere to policies.
- Occasionally assist with deliveries into the store.
