Tesco Colleague - Kinson Superstore

Pay and Hours

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options for fewer hours down to 12.

Availability

We expect you to be available in the following windows:

• Monday: 18:00-23:00
• Wednesday: 18:00-23:00
• Friday: 16:00-20:00
• Saturday: 15:00-19:00

Shifts will be scheduled within these times with a 3‑week notice.

Responsibilities

• Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride
• Being passionate about the products and services in the store
• Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required
• Applying training to work safely, effectively and deliver excellent service
• Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines that meet needs
• Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere
• Understanding store performance, contributing to service and sales, reducing waste, shrink and driving profit
• Handling products with care to maintain quality
• Living the values, making everyone feel welcome, following policies
• Accepting deliveries into the store when required

Requirements

• Passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile
• Ability to build rapport with customers and ensure a great shopping experience
• Take initiative and make customer‑centric decisions
• Work well within a team and communicate openly
• Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit
• Be punctual, well presented and a brand ambassador

Legal
