Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It\’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you\’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
The availability windows show the periods of time in the week we\’d like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you\’ll have 3 weeks\’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues. If the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we’d still love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for
- Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; providing great service.
- Being knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
- Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
- Applying training to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly.
- Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines that meet their needs.
- Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
- Understanding store performance and working with the team to drive service, sales, reduce waste and deliver profit.
