Days From time To time: Mon 14:00:00 18:15:00; Thu 12:00:00 18:30:00; Sat 12:00:00 18:15:00

Pay starts from ÂŁ12.45 per hour and increases to ÂŁ13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too.

The availability windows show the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you will have 3 weeks\’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. What you will be responsible for

  • Knowing customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering great natural service.
  • Being passionate and knowledgeable about products and services in store.
  • Working across service, picking and replenishment areas as required.
  • Applying training to work safely, effectively and deliver excellent service.
  • Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering in-store routines that meet customer needs.
  • Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Understanding store performance and helping to drive service, sales, waste reduction and profitability.
  • Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
  • Representing Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
  • Occasionally, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
