As a Maintenance Technician at Tesco across Handforth and Wilmslow areas, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores remain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike. You will be part of a skilled team responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems and equipment, helping to keep our operations running smoothly.

- Annual bonus scheme of up to 10% of base salary

As a Maintenance Technician your specific responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks. To thrive in this role, you will need to:

Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues
- Following the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fix, improving efficiency and effectiveness
- Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge
- General day-to-day store and property maintenance
- Using mobile devices (phone and tablet) to drive the best approach in work completion and updates
- Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values, maintaining a positive attitude and taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform
- Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback
- Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture
As a vital part of our Maintenance team, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards. With previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment, you will be digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
