Pay and Hours
Hourly rate starts from £12.45, increasing to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. We provide a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. Flexible schedules from 12 to 16 hours are also available.
Responsibilities
- Know and serve customers with passion and pride; deliver great natural service.
- Be knowledgeable about the products and services in the store.
- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas.
- Apply training to work safely and effectively, delivering customer excellence.
- Make decisions that are right for customers, meeting their needs at the right time.
- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
- Contribute to store performance, helping drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure customers receive them in the best condition.
- Live Tesco values, welcome everyone and adhere to policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
