Positioned at the heart of our Customer team, the Insight team's mission is to own the understanding of colleagues, customers, competitors and market performance, giving clear routes to driving the change we need to be a truly customer-centric business and winning with customers!

As the Panel Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating end to end testing of our products with a panel of customers, and sharing the results with business partners to drive improvements in product quality! You'll work with teams across Tesco to land these results, and support teams in building action plans driven by insight.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the testing schedule for food and non-food products, capturing requirements and presenting the process to customers.
  • Production of testing invitations, audiences, surveys and publishing of results using the customer platform including supervising customer queries as the need arises.
  • Supporting in customer segmentation development to help embed the proposition across the business.
  • Presenting clearly and regularly with customers on progress and expectations.
  • Supporting and analysing feedback on the proposition pilot and MVP to advise how to improve the proposition.
  • Ensuring GDPR adherence in line with Tesco and industry standards, and checking processes and protocols as vital.
  • Collaborating with Category teams to develop approaches that meet their expectations for measuring quality, product acceptability and recommendations.
  • Collaborating closely with Technology teams to simplify and improve systems and processes.

You will need:

  • Product research experience.
  • Able to work independently and to a high standard.
  • Experience working in a product testing programme.
  • Experience in a customer facing role/online.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of customers.
  • Phenomenal verbal and written communication skills to both customers and partners.
  • Strong personal organisation and attention to detail.
  • Practical problem solver.
  • Insight reporting - able to conduct intermediate analysis.
  • Excel proficiency.
  • Customer service demeanour or previous customer service experience.
