We are offering a permanent 36-hour contract working both AM & PM shifts on a 3-week rolling rota. Overtime is available and paid at time & a half after 36 hours or double time on Sundays.
As a Warehouse Operative, your role will be to ensure our stores receive the right stock at the right time. It’s a fast-paced environment requiring teamwork, efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
The main duties include:
- Order picking using a finger scanner; other warehouse duties may be required.
- Supporting store colleagues by assembling orders accurately.
- Picking and manually handling stock.
- Maintaining a tidy warehouse and addressing hazards safely and promptly.
- Receiving, storing, packing, and transporting stock to high standards.
- Taking ownership of safety for yourself and others.
- Using tools and training materials efficiently.
- Operating Mechanical Handling Equipment effectively.
- Working independently and as part of a team.
