About the role
We’re Hiring: Cyber Security Analyst
Are you ready to protect critical retail systems from evolving cyber threats? We’re looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our team and help safeguard our platforms, including POS, mobile apps, and cloud environments. In this role, you’ll monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct vulnerability assessments, support penetration testing, and maintain robust security controls. You’ll also collaborate with IT and compliance teams, analyse security logs, and contribute to security awareness campaigns across the business.
You will be responsible for:
- Monitor and respond to cyber threats across retail systems, including POS, mobile apps, and cloud platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate response and remediation efforts
- Maintain and improve security controls
- Support compliance audits and ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual obligations
- Collaborate with IT, data protection, and compliance teams
- Analyse security logs and alerts from SIEM and endpoint protection tools
- Assist in the development of security awareness campaigns for store and corporate staff
- Stay current with emerging threats, retail‑specific attack vectors, and best practices
You will need:
- Experience of AV and EDR sets
- Experience of Microsoft security tool sets
- Use of vulnerability scanning tools
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a small team
