As a Maintenance Technician at Tesco across Notting Hill Gate, Harrow, and Wembley areas, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our stores remain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike. You’ll be part of a skilled team responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems and equipment, helping to keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Confidently interact with external contractors and coordinate repairs seamlessly.
- Work collaboratively with the team, sharing best practice and knowledge to provide quality service.
- Sustain high energy levels, juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency.
- Assist the management team by keeping store and property equipment and facilities operating smoothly.
- Minimise customer disruption by coordinating repairs with minimal impact on valued customers.
- Ensure all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
- Follow the planned work schedule to achieve first‑time fix, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform general day‑to‑day store and property maintenance.
- Use mobile devices – phone and tablet – to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
- Represent the Tesco brand by demonstrating core values and maintaining a positive attitude in Tesco uniform.
- Attend local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
- Support a diverse and inclusive culture.
Qualifications & Operational Skills
- ONC or equivalent.
- Full driving licence.
- Health & safety awareness.
- Communication and collaboration skills.
- Office 365 knowledge.
- Completed all technical training upskilling modules relevant to the role.
