Overview
In this role you will lead the day-to-day running of a busy delivery operation and manage drivers and pickers to meet daily targets. You’ll work to uphold customer satisfaction and maintain high service standards, communicating key information to the team and ensuring safe, compliant operations. You will support the delivery manager in keeping vehicles roadworthy and on schedule, while modelling the company’s brand and customer-focused approach. This is a hands-on leadership position with a clear impact on delivery performance and customer experience.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily delivery operations to meet targets
- Supervise drivers and pickers and motivate the team
- Communicate management information to relevant team members
- Maintain a safe working environment and report Health & Safety concerns
- Promote brand image and ensure customer service standards
- Support vehicle roadworthiness and legal compliance
- Plan and coordinate tasks to be completed efficiently
Key requirements
- Experience supervising a small to medium sized team (warehouse or transport)
- Experience in a customer-focused environment
- Management CPC would be advantageous
- Excellent customer service
