We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Fareham Distribution Centre as a Class 2 Driver. The successful applicants will be required to work 45 hours per week, on any five days out of seven, with various shift patterns. This may include working on Saturdays or Sundays depending on the rota. This role involves handball and manual work, which can be physically demanding, including working outdoors in adverse weather conditions and handling products at delivery points.

All candidates must undertake a drug and alcohol test as part of the pre-employment process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely delivering stock to independent retailers.
  • Completing multi-drop deliveries daily, with variation in the number of stops.
  • Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Maintaining vehicle condition at the start and end of shifts.
  • Working independently and as part of the transport team.

Requirements include:

  • Class 2 Licence
  • Driver CPC certification
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Experience with multi-drop deliveries (temperature-controlled food delivery experience is preferred but not essential)
  • Flexibility to work 45 hours per week, including short-notice changes and varying routes.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence, and no recent convictions for careless driving, mobile phone use, drink driving, or 'Construction of Use'.
