As a Maintenance Technician at Tesco across Gravesend, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our stores remain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike. You’ll be part of a skilled team responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems and equipment, helping to keep our operations running smoothly.

You will be responsible for:

Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
- Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
- General day to day store and property maintenance.
- Using mobile devices; phone and tablet, to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
- Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values, maintaining a positive attitude & taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
- Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
- Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.
You will need:
- Previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment.
- Digital confidence using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
- Operational Skills: ONC or equivalent.
- Full driving license.
- Health & Safety awareness.
- Communication & Collaboration.
- Office 365 knowledge.
- Completed all technical training upskilling modules relevant to abilities.
