About the role
Manage all the financial aspects of the CCEC, including budget setting, business case valuations, and day-to-day financial routines.
You will be responsible for
- Collaborating with all Finance teams that the Customer Engagement Centre supports to ensure accurate accounting of costs.
- Developing explanations for all new work or trials introduced to the Customer Engagement Centre to ensure full understanding of costs.
- Submitting and obtaining approval for capital investments from the Capital Approvals Group, with documentation of benefits and costs.
- Adhering to all corporate and legal processes in a timely manner.
- Tracking actual spend against the budget and seeking opportunities for savings, identifying potential overspends, and areas for investment.
- Aligning with the overall strategy and tactical plans of the Customer Engagement Centre operations.
- Ensuring the Customer Engagement Centre has sufficient budget at the start of the year to serve customers and deliver change plans.
- Developing and maintaining stakeholder understanding of the Customer Engagement Centre\βs role and contribution to Tesco, facilitating appropriate financial decisions throughout the year.
