You\’ll provide actionable insights and analysis to shape pricing and promotion strategies, leveraging advanced analytical methods and modelling techniques to drive informed decision-making.

You will be responsible for

  • Supporting the development of key data streams used in Price & Promotion Analytics.
  • Refactoring and creating data routines to meet business needs.
  • Building data pipelines for pricing, promotion and sales data.
  • Managing Database storage and optimise efficiency of queries.
  • Working with third parties to ingest, process and transform data.
  • Identifying and solving complex issues, and performing thorough QA.
  • Documenting processes and upskilling data users.
  • Proactively creating data sources for end users within the business,
  • Identifying processes that can be standardised, simplified, and automated.
  • Working closely with other teams relevant teams, such as Technology, Dunnhumby, Analytics, Trade Planning, and Pricing to ensure our full commercial strategy is aligned and executed efficiently.

You will need

  • A bachelor\’s degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Economics, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience applying data in a practical and customer-focused way, with a passion for creating tangible impact.
  • Strong skills in handling large data volumes using modern data processing tools, particularly SQL (Teradata and Hadoop).
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Python, VBA, and data visualization tools.
