About the role

We are currently recruiting a Data Analyst to work in our Business Support function to support Analysts, Project Managers and the wider team to improve efficiency in our distribution network.

You will be responsible for

  • Delivering key metric reporting to support Project Managers
  • Translating business requirements and technical details into quality solutions and business language, whilst ensuring robust process maps and documentation
  • Working closely with the engineering team and follow agile practises to document requirements and acceptance criteria to deliver the data needs of Workload Labour Models
  • Increase availability of self-serve reporting for both internal and for the wider department
  • Data maintenance and report distribution
  • Helps deliver both descriptive and diagnostic reporting

You will need

  • Sophisticated Excel (including VBA)
  • Previous experience using SQL (Desirable)
  • Good data visualisation and presentation skills (Tableau preferred)
  • Strong Analytical and numerical skills
  • Desire to learn new skills and develop technical competence
  • Curiosity of how data works in real world –
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Previously built requirement documents and/or process flow maps
