Its policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too.
The table shows the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you will have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering your part of our customer shopping trip by:
- Ensuring the van and trays are clean and tidy
- Leaving the back yard clean and free of rubbish, picking up litter as I see it
- Washing trays as part of the tray wash process
- Loading the van as required and checking the van for roadworthiness
- Speaking to the customer about changes to their order, including substitutions, offering a refund for anything they are unhappy with
- Taking care of products and deliveries as if they were my own
- Explaining to the customer that substitutions will not be charged extra
- Delivering during the customer’s time slot
- Calling the customer before arriving if arriving early
- Calling the store/centre if running 30 minutes or more late
Requirements
- Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit
- Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues
- Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs and embrace change within the store
- Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations, balancing home and work
- Share ideas with the Manager and colleagues on how to improve the store
- A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
- A valid driving role via licence requirement as applicable
