You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on analytical expertise, working cross-functionally to drive insight-led decision making and create a consistent approach to measurement across the business.
You will be responsible for
- Lead the development and evolution of
Tesco's measurement framework, ensuring robust, consistent and
commercially relevant evaluation across marketing and personalisation
activities. - Act as the subject matter expert for
measurement, incrementality, test-and-learn design, control groups and
campaign effectiveness. - Partner with teams across Analytics,
Insights, Finance, Technology, Data Science and external agencies to align
methodologies and establish a single source of truth. - Drive best practice, governance and
quality standards across insight and measurement outputs, ensuring clear,
actionable and trusted recommendations. - Build and lead a measurement community,
influencing stakeholders and senior leaders while embedding continuous
improvement and knowledge sharing. - Provide hands-on analytical support
where required, translating data into insights that improve targeting,
optimisation and business performance.
You will need
- Extensive experience in analytics,
measurement and insights within a complex, data-rich environment. - Strong expertise in incrementality,
causal measurement, experimentation and marketing performance evaluation. - Proven track record of delivering
measurable business value through personalisation, CRM or customer-focused
programmes. - Excellent stakeholder management and
communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex methodologies
for non-technical audiences. - Experience leading cross-functional
initiatives and driving transformational change, including establishing
new frameworks, processes and ways of working.
