Overview
We’re looking for a Team Leader to join one of our Cafés, where a friendly, fast-paced environment awaits. With a passion for providing excellent customer service, a proactive can-do attitude, and great collaboration skills, you’ll help keep everyday operations running smoothly.
You’ll get to flex, and build on, your skills and experience with a wide range of responsibilities. From supporting the Manager to meeting business and financial goals, to coaching, developing, and training team members, to leading by example with impeccable customer service.

Your responsibilities
- Maintain operational and safety standards to ensure smooth café running.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are met and followed.
- Lead by example by delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Open and close the café and oversee full operations in the Manager’s absence.
- Recognise and celebrate team members for providing excellent service.
- Know our menu inside out and help the team learn it.
- Boost sales by ensuring staff are in the right place at the right time.
- Deliver Health & Safety and Food Safety training for team members.
- Support the Café Manager with coaching and development of colleagues.
- Identify ways to continuously improve service for customers.
- Promote an inclusive environment where colleagues feel respected, valued, and safe.
You will need
- A background in hospitality, with Team/Shift Leader experience.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Health & Safety and Food Safety knowledge.
Personal
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Confidence using initiative to improve ways of working.
