You will be responsible for

Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of Tesco as a business, the following provides an overview of the role\\\’s key responsibilities and measures:

  • Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
  • Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
  • Following food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
  • Practising first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
  • Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
  • Being aware of (and following) all operational policies and procedures.
  • Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to our cafés
  • Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
  • Knowing our café\\\’s menu inside and out and serving food exactly as it\\\’s intended.
  • Resolving customer complaints and passing on information to the Café Manager.
  • Staying up to date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.

You will need

  • A commitment to excellent customer service.

  • The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.
