We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative individual to join our team at Tesco, supporting the delivery of sustainable asset tagging processes across our estate. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of asset data through systems like OCR and Verisae, while auditing and validating store-specific reports to support key business decisions. You’ll work closely with internal functions to ensure data is fit for purpose, and play a vital role in quality assurance following capital and refresh works. Beyond the technical aspects, you’ll contribute to making our team a great place to work—sharing your knowledge, supporting colleagues, and helping to drive continuous improvement across our asset management programme.
About the role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of asset data through systems like OCR and Verisae, while auditing and validating store-specific reports to support key business decisions. You’ll work closely with internal functions to ensure data is fit for purpose, and play a vital role in quality assurance following capital and refresh works. Beyond the technical aspects, you’ll contribute to making our team a great place to work—sharing your knowledge, supporting colleagues, and helping to drive continuous improvement across our asset management programme.
You will be responsible for
- Delivery of sustainable Asset tagging processes as per Team plan and timeline.
- Responsible for accurate reporting through OCR / Verisae (warranty data, installation dates etc)
- Supplying/Auditing store specific reports/databases for analysis/inputs and assurance
- Collaborating with TBS functions to ensure supplied data is fit for purpose.
- Auditing the quality of the store asset data, (assurance process)
- Supporting asset vaildation after Capital and refresh works
- Contributing to make my team a great place to work (e.g. supporting activities like team days or team meetings).
- Coaching and supporting the wider team using my experience.
- Supporting the Asset Team Manager to review the progress and learnings of the programme.
You will need
- Experience of present Asset Database
- Good understanding of EAM systems and reporting process
- Good understanding of OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
- Broad technical knowledge
- Confident in utilisation of Microsoft, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel etc
- Teams and reporting processes
- Stakeholder management
- Prepared to work on own initatives
