Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid, however you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh office, 2 days per week for this position.

We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Pricing team at Tesco Bank. This role is pivotal in the design and creation of Credit Card pricing, giving you close access to senior leadership, as well as the opportunity to influence the pricing strategy of the business. You’ll have exposure to the bank’s plan, and you’ll be key in delivering margin and lending targets as well as having plenty of opportunity to showcase your talent, through presenting at senior forums and leading projects.
What you’ll be doing:
- Interpret commercial performance and provide insight and recommendations on commercial trends. Help senior management make effective decisions based on the data and ensure they are clear on the implications.
- Support the development of analytical models and use these tools to price existing and new products, based on historical data, market data, and input of commercial teams.
- Contribute to reviewing existing processes and decision settings and generate new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
- Support the implementation of BAU pricing changes across products. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of pricing strategies.
- Conduct in-depth analysis on pricing-related issues and opportunities as they arise. Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
We need you to have:
- Experience working within a highly regulated industry, ideally with lending or savings products knowledge
- Strong Commercial acumen
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills
- Analytical capability
- Proficient in SAS/SQL, Power BI and Excel
