A chance to thrive: We’re looking for a Resilience Transition and Embedding Senior Manager to join our team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc. This role will be key in supporting our Technology Resilience during a key period of change for Tesco Bank. The role will be pivotal in embedding the practices and controls required to maintain the availability of our services for our customers. You’ll be working with colleagues and leaders across Tesco Bank and the wider Barclays team. You’ll be involved in our integration journey and the evolution of our technology solutions underpinning the most important services for our customers. A unique opportunity to shape how we maintain and improve our services during a period of material change. You’ll be reporting to the Head of Resilience for Tesco Bank, Barclays, and working with colleagues across the wider Resilience team in Barclays. As part of this role you will get the opportunity to work with SMEs across the Barclays teams and have the chance to develop skills in emerging technologies as we understand the resilience considerations for our customer services.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading on the Technology Resilience approach in Tesco Bank, collaborating with Technology colleagues across the business.
- Lead on the tooling approach for Operational Resilience.
- Manage embedding of Resilience requirements within our change assurance processes.
- Engaging Technology colleagues from across BAU and programme teams to ensure Technology Resilience requirements are understood and considered across target solutions.
We need you to have:
- Technology resilience experience is critical to build upon within our team.
- An understanding of technology infrastructure, resilience by design, and technology testing capabilities.
- Experience of financial services technology is essential.
And if you have any of these, even better:
- Operational Resilience in Financial Services knowledge would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of agile development processes and emerging technologies.
