This is a highly commercial role where you'll manage the end-to-end delivery of retail partnerships, from opportunity identification and business case development through to negotiation, implementation and ongoing relationship management. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure partnerships are successfully delivered and aligned to Tesco's strategic priorities.

If you're a commercially-minded relationship builder who enjoys driving change, influencing stakeholders and delivering customer-focused solutions, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Developing and delivering long-term, customer-led partnership strategies that enhance the Tesco customer proposition.
  • Managing the end-to-end process of introducing third-party retail partners into the business, from opportunity assessment and negotiation through to implementation and ongoing performance management.
  • Building strong relationships with external partners and acting as the key point of contact throughout the partnership lifecycle.
  • Identifying growth opportunities across your category and working with New and Existing Partnership Managers to develop and deliver strategic plans.
  • Creating and maintaining a pipeline of partnership installations and projects across the estate.
  • Reviewing business cases, identifying efficiencies and unlocking opportunities through combined projects and innovative solutions.
  • Working collaboratively with UK and Tesco Business Services teams to ensure effective partner management and operational delivery.
  • Using customer insight, market trends and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring contracts are agreed, documented and managed in line with Tesco policies and governance requirements.
  • Managing category finances, including forecasting, budget tracking and cost allocation.
  • Leading cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Product, Channels and Customer teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
  • Monitoring market developments and competitor activity to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Driving continuous improvement by developing more efficient processes, ways of working and partnership methodologies.
  • Experience developing and delivering category or partnership strategies.
  • Strong commercial experience, ideally within retail, property, partnerships or a customer-facing environment.
  • Experience managing complex projects and multiple critical paths simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing contractual relationships.
  • Financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting and business case evaluation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret insight and market data to support decision-making.
  • Experience reviewing cost plans, investment proposals and business cases.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and influence at all levels.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
