Availability Window

  • Wed 06:00-10:00
  • Thu 17:15-22:00
  • Fri 12:00-19:00
  • Sat 15:00-23:15

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but flexible options from 12 hours are available. We support flexibility and will schedule your contracted hours within these availability windows.

Responsibilities

  • Serve shoppers, greeting customers with a smile and delivering great service.
  • Build rapport with customers to create a memorable shopping trip.
  • Make decisions that are right for customers at the right time.
  • Work well within a team and communicate openly with others.
  • Participate in seasonal, community and charity events.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality.
  • Accept deliveries into the store when required.
  • Serve customers across the store, picking and replenishing areas.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile.
  • Knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
  • Experience in picking and replenishment areas.
  • Understanding of store performance and the ability to drive service and sales.
  • Ability to read and understand policies and to follow them.
  • Be a team player, build relationships with colleagues to create a team spirit.
  • Be punctual, well‑presented and ready to act as a brand ambassador.
  • Having a passion for delivering great service, with pride and pride.
