We're looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join our Climate team within Tesco's Quality function. You'll use data-driven insights to shape our sustainability strategy, build robust business cases, and support key decision-making across the business. Working closely with teams across Property, Transport, Business Units, and ESG Finance, you'll help ensure climate data is effectively managed, reported, and embedded into governance processes. - Owning the reporting process and driving continual improvement:
- Working with colleagues in hubs to collect quarterly emissions data and presenting insights & results to the relevant teams.
- Participate in the annual assurance process.
- Providing the data to report our performance when required to feed into our sustainability KPIs, public third party rankings (e.g. CDP), as well as press, customers and NGO inquiries.
- Leading the processing of supplier payments for the Climate workstream.
- Engaging suppliers on data collection in annual engagement campaign.
- Engaging the wider group sustainability team through monthly connects, and working alongside subject matter experts in climate, nature and forests, with opportunities to step into projects across the wider sustainability team.
- Building relationships across the business, and passionately promoting the sustainability agendas.
- Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and generating actionable insights, with the ability to present findings clearly through both visualisations and stakeholder presentations.
- Knowledge of environmental sustainability and industry trends, coupled with a genuine passion for people and the planet.
- Proven ability to build and manage stakeholder and supplier relationships, working effectively across functions to influence decision-making.
- Experience driving process and system improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting quality.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging and presenting to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
