Our Systems, New & Refresh Stores team is responsible for delivering Tesco’s Property programme, managing new store openings, closures, and refresh projects in partnership with Retail and Property teams. We also oversee stock flow during peak seasonal periods such as Summer, Easter, and Christmas, ensuring availability for our customers. In addition, the team supports petrol filling station refits, fulfilment centres, and direct-to-store ordering systems, acting as gatekeepers for store ordering processes and delivering ad hoc retail projects. This is a fast‑paced role that requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
Responsibilities
- Implementing store range and merchandising plans for new and refresh stores.
- Building and reviewing store‑level sales forecasts and orders to maintain availability and manage stock levels.
- Accurately managing CR ordering system settings.
- Acting as the main point of contact for Retail Project Managers on ordering and availability queries.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to ensure a joined‑up approach.
- Defining and tracking performance against KPIs.
- Supporting additional responsibilities such as gatekeeping ordering systems, direct‑to‑store supply, and depot relief.
