In this role, you’ll take ownership of the entire payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, every time.

Responsibilities
- Check the number of hours employees have worked.
- Calculate wages and salaries.
- Handle all aspects of payroll administration, including starters, leavers, statutory payments, and terminations.
- Calculate pay raises.
- Issue tax forms and related documentation and assist employees in completing them.
- Deduct tax and national insurance payments.
- Resolve issues employees have with timesheets, payslips, and other payroll matters.
- Change employee bank records when necessary to process payments accurately.
- Process third-party payments.
- Calculate sick pay.
- Maintain up-to-date records and assist with ad-hoc payroll tasks.
- Prioritise workloads and constantly switch tasks and databases while answering telephone queries and dealing with employees.
- Work to deadlines.
- Maintain the Payroll mailbox.
- Administer Attachment of Earnings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
