About the role

As a Capability Partner, you'll be collaborating with senior customers to define the strategic direction for functional learning. Your role involves identifying current and future capability needs, aligning with the Group Tesco Capability strategy, and working closely with the Capability Design team and Tesco Business Services to shape capability development for your business area. Your approach will be visible, adaptable, and influential as you build positive relationships across the organization.

You will be responsible for

  • Partnering with senior team members to influence and develop strategic direction for functional learning.
  • Leading data-driven learning needs analysis and developing capability plans.
  • Managing a small remote team and ensuring a consistent approach across all learning products and platforms.
  • Partnering with HR and Talent teams to align the colleague experience.
  • Championing core learning offerings for colleagues, managers, and leaders.
  • Owning safe and legal training content and compliance.
  • Ensuring governance, prioritizing work, and managing budgets responsibly.
  • Innovating and improving learner experiences and capability strategies, including Learning Tech.
  • Driving a culture of learning and embodying Tesco's Win Together behaviours.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with international teams.
  • Knowledge of current learning trends and effective learning methodologies.
