The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

The role includes working within defined weekly availability windows. The schedule is set within those times, with 3 weeks’ notice of exact shifts. We offer flexibility where possible and welcome discussions about availability.

Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

As a Shift Leader, you will work in a fast paced retail environment where no day is the same. You will take ownership of activities by coordinating a team to deliver. You will focus on improving service through on-the-job coaching and feedback. You will understand how your team is performing and deliver practical actions for improvement with a hands-on approach. You will help ensure your area remains a safe place to work and shop.

You are able to role model great, natural customer service ensuring every customer’s needs are met. Build strong, long-lasting relationships with colleagues to create a team spirit and keep everyone at their best. Be a clear communicator and use a variety of methods to keep the team well informed. Be confident in taking the lead as you may be in charge at times. Be flexible in your thinking, make decisions efficiently, and handle change to serve customers and colleagues well. Have energy and drive to deliver beyond expectations and balance priorities. Always look for ideas and opportunities to serve shoppers a little better every day.
