As the Online Trading Manager for Whoosh, you will play a key role in shaping our on-demand grocery delivery service. You will help plan, deliver and optimise trade content, identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience and support commercial growth.
Working closely with the Lead Trading Manager, you will bring expertise in online content planning and execution across Whoosh. You will oversee the content roadmap, ensuring content is delivered effectively across key customer missions, seasonal events, commercial priorities and trading opportunities.
You will support and develop a team of two Trade Executives, providing guidance, coaching and clear direction to help them succeed. Balancing business as usual activities with seasonal campaigns and longer term initiatives, you will work collaboratively to identify opportunities, solve challenges and deliver great results.
By building strong relationships with Commercial, Product, Technology, Analytics, Customer, Retail Media and wider business teams, you will help deliver positive outcomes for customers and the business. Using customer insights, sales and conversion data, and onsite performance measures, you will continuously improve navigation, content effectiveness and the overall customer journey across Whoosh.

- Owning the Whoosh online content and trading plan across key customer missions, using sales, conversion, customer behaviour and onsite performance data to identify opportunities, improve customer journeys and support commercial growth.
- Developing the Whoosh online content strategy with the Lead Trading Manager, creating a clear programme across product categories, seasonal events, customer propositions and media campaigns.
- Managing the trade content roadmap, ensuring effective prioritisation and delivery of activity that supports customer needs and commercial objectives.
- Building, maintaining and continuously optimising trading content assets to support customer engagement, conversion and sales.
- Leading daily, weekly and seasonal performance reviews, turning insight into clear actions and recommendations.
- Managing and prioritising the Whoosh backlog, working closely with Product, Technology and Analytics teams to deliver tests, platform improvements and customer experience enhancements.
- Managing the Whoosh online media proposition, including onsite media, sampling and new supplier opportunities.
- Growing content across key customer missions, including mealtimes, meal deals, top-up shops, seasonal events and last-minute needs.
- Building strong collaborative relationships across Commercial, Product, Technology, Operations, Fulfilment, Analytics, Customer, Marketing, Retail Media and dunnhumby to deliver a seamless customer journey.
- Identifying opportunities to improve trading performance, customer experience and ways of working, taking ideas through to implementation where appropriate.
- Maintaining the accuracy, quality and compliance of Whoosh content through regular reviews and effective governance.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of teams across the business to align priorities and deliver positive outcomes for customers and the business.
- Proven line management experience, with a track record of coaching, developing and supporting colleagues to build capability and deliver strong results.
- A strong commercial mindset, with experience contributing to sales, conversion, customer engagement or business growth.
