  • You’ll supply prescriptions, deliver a range of NHS and private services, and provide healthcare advice to customers.
  • You’ll play an active role in our charity support programs, giving advice to people at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • You’ll support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.
  • You’ll support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
  • You’ll ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.
  • You’ll have a Pharmacy Degree.
  • You’ll be passionate about leading and empowering a team.
  • You’ll be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme – we’ll assist you with this when offering the role.
  • You’ll complete a DBS check (organized by us) before employment.

Our Duty Pharmacy Managers are supported by wider store teams, including security, stock replenishment, range management, and administration, to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for our customers and patients, while maintaining safety for colleagues and customers alike.

Tesco Pharmacies offers colleagues a high level of flexibility and control over their work rotas. This allows for routine overlap periods with other pharmacists on duty, fostering collaboration on patient care and colleague development.
