Maintenance Technician - Daventry Frozen DC in Crick

Tesco Property Maintenance are looking for hardworking and efficient Maintenance Technicians to join our growing Property Maintenance Team! As a Maintenance Technician your specific responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks. To thrive in this role, you will need to:

• Confidently Interact with External Contractors: Coordinating repairs seamlessly.
• Work Collaboratively with the Team: Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.
• Sustain High Energy Levels: Juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency.
• Assist the Management Team: Keeping our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
• Minimize Customer Disruption: Coordinating repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
• Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
• General day to day store and property maintenance.
• Using mobile devices; phone and tablet, to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
• Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values (serving our customers, communities and planet a little better every day), maintaining a positive attitude & taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
• Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
• Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.

An experienced Electrical Biased Maintenance/Automation Engineer, ideally from a warehouse/logistics background as well as:

• A recognized qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• An understanding in Electrical Systems.
• Proficiency in automation/heavy industrial engineering environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Ability to work on your own or as part of a wider team.
