Pay and Hours: The Tesco Colleague rate starts from £12.45 an hour, increasing to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Minimum guaranteed hours are 16 per week, with options for 12 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
- Serve customers with passion, pride and great natural service.
- Build rapport with customers, ensuring they leave with a great shopping trip.
- Take initiative and make decisions that are right for customers.
- Work well within a team and communicate openly with others.
- Build relationships with colleagues, creating team spirit and celebrating success.
- Be on time, well presented and ready to be a brand ambassador.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure best condition.
- Put into practice training to work safely, effectively and deliver brilliance to customers.
- Support seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
- Be knowledgeable about store performance; drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink and deliver profit.
- At times, accept deliveries into the store if required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age 18; over 18 if role requires working before 6:15am or after 9:45pm, or in specific areas such as warehouse, counters, bakery and driving roles.
- Pass school leaver's age for your country.
- Ability to work early/late shifts and be flexible for early 6:15am to 9:45pm.
- Good communication skills and a passion for delivering great service.
