As a Stocktake Operations Executive, you’ll deliver and improve the stocktake process across our stores, helping us serve customers, communities and the planet a little better every day. You’ll act as the trusted expert who offers clear guidance, resolves escalations and ensures every stocktake starts smoothly. You’ll respond quickly to the needs of the business, travelling to priority sites when support is needed most, while collaborating with store teams, suppliers and cross‑functional colleagues to create simple, effective improvements. With strong communication, planning and problem‑solving skills, you’ll build trusted relationships, stay calm under pressure and go the extra mile to deliver great results for customers, colleagues and your team. This role operates on a night‑shift pattern, with working hours from 22:00 to 06:00, covering Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Attending stocktakes, store/DC coaching events and supplier workshops to ensure a consistent, high‑quality external count process across the business.
- Ensuring all stocktakes in your cluster start on time, resolving any issues or escalations quickly and effectively.
- Responding flexibly to business needs, including travelling overnight to stores that require additional support.
- Acting as the recognised expert for the stocktake process and being accessible to stores seeking guidance or advice.
- Troubleshooting and resolving escalations from stores or suppliers, identifying when issues need intervention.
- Prioritising tasks, managing your own time well and interpreting data to inform decisions.
- Working collaboratively with dedicated, cross‑functional and supplier teams to deliver improvements and support process changes.
- Communicating objectives, deliverables and actions clearly and simply for a wide range of audiences.
- Staying calm and effective under pressure, demonstrating strong planning, organisation and communication skills.
- Coaching and supporting store and supplier teams to build capability and embed best practice.
- Partnering with suppliers to deliver training and ensure process changes are implemented successfully.

Qualifications
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload effectively.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and professionally with a range of colleagues and suppliers.
- The ability to work remotely and stay self‑motivated, organised and connected while doing so.
- Flexibility to work shift patterns.
- Experience of stock control within a store environment.
